Choosing a Standing Stone Dairy Goat
We enjoy talking with our potential buyers about what you are looking for. 
 We strive to fit the right animal with the right home so be sure to let me know what you are 
looking for and what improvements you would like to see in kids from your
Standing Stone dairy goat.  Herd health and proper management is very important
to us.  All kids sold will be disbudded, tattooed, vaccinated for CD/T, and
supplemented with Bo-Se injection before leaving the farm.  Coccidiosis
preventative is also given to kids periodically until weaned.  From time to
time, older bucks and does may also be available for sale so please
ask if you are interested in an animal of any age.


Reserving Your Standing Stone Kid
Prices quoted are for pre-ordered kids picked up from the farm or shipped
between 2 - 4 weeks of age if bottle fed or 12 - 14 weeks if dam raised.  To reserve your kid, a $100 deposit is required with remaining balance due within 10 days of notification of birth.  We ask that you pick a first and second choice kid in the event that your 1st
choice is not available.  If we are unable to fill your order or if the animal
does not meet our standards of quality, this deposit may be transferred to
another animal or semen, but deposits on cancelled orders are never refunded.  


Bucks    
Please know that we do not keep all the buck's that are born.  Our standards
are very high for a reason.  Buck kids are usually castrated at or before 10 weeks
of age if not pre-ordered as barn space is limited. Understand that we
usually do not keep "extra" buck kids around once show season is in full
swing, so please consider pre-ordering and/or contacting us early.   Buck
kids are only conditionally available ("CA") from first fresheners.  Before a
buck kid from a first freshener is sold as a breeding buck, his dam must be
evaluated in milk for a minimum of 4 to 6 weeks.   We reserve the right to obtain 20 straws of semen from any buck we sell at the cost of collection.  


Taking Your Kid Home  
Although we encourage you to pick your kid up from the farm so that you may
view related animals, we realize this may not always be possible.  Let us
know your needs ahead of time and we can make the necessary airline
arrangements to ship your new kid to you out of the Nashville, TN (BNA) airport.  All shipping costs, including health papers, shipping
crate and shipping fees are to be paid by the buyer prior to time of shipping.
We will provide ADGA registration papers on all breeding animals.

Deposits and Payment
Deposits are a guarantee that I will hold that animal until the agreed upon
pick-up date AND your guarantee that you will buy that animal at the agreed upon
price.  Deposits on cancelled orders are not refundable.  We require a
$100 deposit per animal.  Once a deposit is placed on
an animal, you will be notified upon birth and the balance is due within 10 days of notification. The goat must be picked up within  2 - 4 
weeks of age if a bottle baby or at 12 -16 weeks if dam raised based on our decision. This decision will always have the best interest of the goat in mind as sometimes I am not comfortable with a goat leaving here on a preset date. After you are notified of the available time frame for your animals pick up,  if pick up is not made, or detailed arrangements not agreed upon by us the animal may be offered for sale again or a boarding fee assessed at the rate of $4/day for dry does, $5/day for bucks.
Cash, money orders and checks and paypal are accepted.  
I will hold registration papers until personal checks clear the bank.
